Challenge

Telling a new and compelling story for the Islands of Tahiti in an increasingly competitive global market, with significant changes in consumer behavior and attitudes towards luxury. The country brand for French Polynesia also had to support investment in long-term strategies to drive the reinvigoration of the tourism industry, leveraging this project as an important moment to build future opportunity for the people of Tahiti.

Idea

The brand idea entices us to look beyond the surface and reflects a deeper, uniquely Tahitian experience of beauty; the diverse attributes, traditions, and textures, elegantly expressing Tahiti’s serene and powerful spirit.

Solution

Inspired by the sensorial and varied natural beauty of the Islands and the distinctive traditional crafts still practiced widely today, the visual identity system incorporates patterns and symbols from iconic plants and flowers found across the five archipelagos in the Islands of Tahiti.
